Detail
- Jian, known as the "gentleman of all weapons" in traditional Chinese armament, originated as early as the Shang and Zhou dynasties. Characterized by its straight double-edged blade with a central ridge, it serves multiple purposes—practical stabbing in combat, ceremonial decoration, and cultural symbolism. It was once a sidearm for ancient nobles and warriors, and is also commonly used as a cultural artifact for house protection and good fortune.
- Based on the traditional Jian design, this Fuqian Jian features solid wood for the hilt and scabbard, with fittings carved with "good fortune" patterns and ancient coin motifs, accented by a red tassel. Its overall style is simple and elegant, restoring the neat texture of traditional Jian while incorporating decorative details with auspicious meanings.
