Detail
- Jian, known as the "gentleman of all weapons" in traditional Chinese armament, originated in the Shang and Zhou dynasties. Characterized by a straight double-edged blade with a central ridge, it serves purposes like combat stabbing, ceremonial decoration, and cultural symbolism—it was a sidearm for ancient warriors, and also a cultural artifact carrying auspicious meanings.
- Following the traditional Jian design, this FuLong Jian features solid wood with gentle grain for the hilt and scabbard. Its silver fittings are fully carved with cloud and dragon patterns, and the blade is engraved with auspicious dragon motifs, accented by a wooden tassel and turquoise beads. The overall style is luxurious yet classic, integrating the auspicious meanings of "good fortune" and "Loong (Chinese dragon)" into details.
