This is a Ming Dao (saber of the Ming Dynasty) from China: Ming Dao, a mainstream weapon in the Ming Dynasty, evolved from the improved long saber forms of the Tang and Song dynasties. It features a wide blade with a moderate curve, a single edge, and a hilt suitable for one or two-handed grip, combining chopping power and operational flexibility. It applies to battlefield combat, daily self-defense and traditional martial arts practice, representing the "combination of practicality and craftsmanship" in Ming Dynasty weapons.
This LoongPan Dao has fittings decorated with Loong (Chinese dragon, a mythical beast symbolizing majesty, good fortune and power in Chinese culture). The blade retains the majestic form of Ming Dao, paired with Loong-patterned fittings, restoring the sharp texture of ancient sabers while carrying the profound imagery of traditional Loong culture.
