This sword is a replica of the Yongle Great Sword, a treasure of the Royal Armouries Museum in London. Originally a gift from Emperor Yongle of the early Ming Dynasty to Tibetan Buddhist monks for ethnic harmony, it was lost in the UK during wartime and later bought by the museum in 1991 for £100,000, hailed as a top ancient weapon.
The blade, made via ancient Damascus steel folding, clay tempering, and hand polishing, is rigid, sharp, and features unique patterns. The pure copper guard is hand - carved with a divine beast "Qiong" (Buddha's mount), exquisite and sacred. The handle uses high - grade sharkskin, with auspicious cloud carvings and a lifelike golden - winged roc at the end. The scabbard, with auspicious clouds and Buddhist emblems like the vajra pestle, has 24K gold plating outside and sharkskin - wrapped ipe wood inside, exuding luxury.
Crafted by Spartan Blades Club & CHEN'S SWORDS, this replica honors the historical sword and showcases traditional craftsmanship and culture, ideal for collection and cultural inheritance.
