Ghost of Yōtei is the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, set in Yōtei Mountain, Hokkaido in 1603. The protagonist "Atsu" becomes a vengeful spirit to seek revenge. These two gilded Bushi Blades are legendary weapons in the game: An'ya Ryuukin is obtained by the protagonist from the ruins of ancient Ainu blacksmiths after completing the hidden mission "Northern Dark Secret Realm"; Hatsuyo Ryuukin is the reward for clearing the main level "Morning Light Holy Peak" — it is said that the two blades are the power carriers of "Day and Night Souls" of Yōtei Mountain.

As traditional Japanese Katana, they feature elegant blade curvature and exquisite forging craftsmanship: An'ya Ryuukin presents black background with gold patterns, like the aurora flowing in the night; Hatsuyo Ryuukin is mainly white background with gold patterns, like the morning light spreading at dawn.
